Potency of Herbal Energy Supplements "Don't get taken"

I have become a huge fan of herbal energy supplements. I have been taking Ginseng and ginkgo supplements for years. I have noticed through my purchase of Green Tea and Yerba Mate supplements the sheer quantity of supplements that contain a certain portion of Rice Flour or bran. Many herbal providers have included these filler compounds that a cheaper
than the Yerba Mate or other active stimulant component's. This is sometimes done just to bind the active component's but most often is done to provide a cheaper alternative to larger dosages of active components. I started taking a series of capsules from various providers and found that the active components had been greatly reduced by filler material. The best thing to look at the ingredients. Look for the the amount of active ingredients. Buy products that contain real active ingredients not just flour.

Legal Stimulants "Herbs that give you energy"

In my constant quest for herbs that
will give you an extra boost I have
come up with a list of herbs now
being used in energy drinks at a
trace levels to provide as a stimulant.

The following are newer trends since the moving
away from ephedra:
1.) Yerba Mate'
2.) Guarana
3.) Tyrosine
4.) Acai

This is in addition to the long used Ginseng and bee pollen
that have been around in energy drinks for years. These
new herbs that provide energy boost have actually been
used by indigenous tribes in South America for hundreds
of years.
Yerba Mate' was used by the Jesuits in the 1600's to keep
the workers energized while they worked in the fields in Brazil
and other South American countries. This drink is still enjoyed
as a stimulant and refreshing beverage in South America.
Guarna is also a beverage and herb used by those in South
America to get that extra boost. Guarana is used today by
soccer players and other athletes on a regular basis in Brazil
as a stimulant to help with performence.
Acai is a berry that is used to stimulate and for overall health
by the amazonian people. This is a berry that has been
promoted most recently for its health benefits by Dr. Pericone
and such personalities as Oprah Winfrey on her show.
The Acai berry is usually taken with Guarana or Yerba Mate'
to increase the stimulating effect. ( http://www.oprah.com/)

I would seek these herbs out in their natural forms so as to
control the effect.

I would try them and see which works for you. Yerba Mate and
Guarana you can
get a sample pack at http://greyrocket.com/FreeSample.htm .
You will want to see what works for you.
